Curvita had already been developed by a solo developer and had strong functionality, but the UX and UI still needed refinement. I was brought in to make the product feel less technical and help users understand the flow, create better CVs, adapt applications faster, and track their progress without feeling overwhelmed.

Curvita - Product UX Refinement
Work in progress: UX/UI refinement for a CV and application management product.
Back
Plan
Review the existing product, identify the moments where the experience felt too technical or unclear, simplify the flows, and make the interface more friendly and guided for people creating and adapting job applications.
Product context
Curvita helps users create more structured CVs and motivation letters, adapt them to different job applications, and track where they have applied. The product also uses guidance and gamified elements to support people through the application process.
Refinement focus
My work focused on making an already functional product easier to understand. I helped improve the UX/UI flow so the tool felt less technical, more approachable, and more useful for non-technical users.
- Clarified the experience around CV creation and adaptation.
- Improved the way users understand application tracking and next steps.
- Made the interface feel lighter, friendlier, and more guided.
Outcome
The project showed how much UX refinement matters when a complex product already works technically but still needs to become understandable, trustworthy, and practical for real users.
